Emocute Studio v8.1 — AI Music Production for Claude
A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Choosing Your Version (v8 / v8.1)
Emocute Studio is a source package for AI music production. Both v8 and v8.1 are available from this product page — pick the one that fits your setup.
- v8.1 (Claude Code edition) — Runs on Claude Code (Anthropic's official CLI). Unzip, run
claude, and you're producing immediately — Claude auto-reads the spec files. - v8 (Claude.ai edition) — Upload the ZIP to a Claude.ai chat. No Claude Code or terminal setup needed.
If you already bought v8, you'll get v8.1 free of charge. v8 remains downloadable — keep using it if you prefer the chat workflow.
The description below assumes v8.1. v8 users can adapt the same steps to the chat-based workflow.
Emocute Studio v8.1 — AI Music Production Environment
Emocute Studio is an AI music production source package designed for Claude Code. It takes vague directions and helps you design chord progressions, MIDI, lyrics, and Style / Exclude prompts for Suno.
It is not a standalone app. The package bundles Python source code, a harmony dictionary, Suno vocabulary data, production workflows, and spec files that Claude Code auto-reads on startup.
Unzip and run claude. It reads the spec files, picks up the rules, tools, and workflows, and starts producing right away — no upload, no copy-paste setup.
Phrases like "lofi but melancholic," "dark verse, open up at the chorus," or "footwork but keep some sweetness" get translated into chord progressions, MIDI direction, lyrics, and Suno prompts, with Claude drawing on the bundled docs and code.
v8.1 ships approximately 51,000 lines of Python, a 336-entry harmony dictionary, 566 Suno vocabulary words, and 41 Suno production tools (v8 ships at a different scale).

Where Suno Alone Falls Short
Text-only prompts can't reliably push Suno into mid-song modulations or odd meters. Emocute Studio assumes you'll design MIDI and upload it to Suno, so the areas where text prompts fall short become controllable.
- Modulation design — Diatonic, relative / parallel key, half-step up, pivot-chord routes. The design engine proposes modulation paths. Modulate as many times as you want within a single track.
- Odd-meter support — 5/4, 7/4, 7/8, mixed meters. Lock the structure at the MIDI level for meters that Suno can't reliably grasp from text alone.
- Reharmonization — Inject tensions, upper structures, substitute chords, and tritone subs into existing progressions.
- Voice leading — Berklee-style voice-leading optimization. Polish internal voice motion at the MIDI level before handing it off to Suno.
How to Use
1. Tell it roughly what you want "Lofi but melancholic," "a song that opens up at the chorus" — intuitive phrases are enough.
2. Pick from multiple options Genre, concept, BPM, key, song form, and chord-design direction are each presented as multiple options. Once you pick one, it proceeds through chord design, lyrics, MIDI generation, MP3 preview, and Suno prompt output.
3. Refine "Not surprising enough," "push the lyrics harder," "open up only at the chorus," "make it darker" — feedback like this redesigns the relevant section.
What's New in v8.1
The following are added in v8.1 and not present in v8. If you own v8 and need any of these, you can upgrade to v8.1 for free.
- Claude Code support — Just launch Claude Code and the package is ready. ZIP uploads and custom-prompt pasting are no longer required.
- Suno solo renderer — Specify genre / key / BPM and it generates chords, drums, bass, melody, and pads, then outputs an MP3 in one shot.
- Suno prompt as HTML — Style / Exclude / Lyrics / Progression in four blocks, each with its own copy button. Paste each block straight into Suno's input fields.
- Reference track analysis — Drop in an MP3 and it analyzes key, BPM, chord progression, and frequency balance, then proposes a Suno command.
- Suno output analysis and separation — Splits your Suno renders into four stems (vocals, drums, bass, other), runs a quality analysis, and recommends master settings.
- Lyrics quality check — Automatically detects AI-flavored phrasing, overused vocabulary, thought verbs (think / feel / wonder), over-explaining, and structural weakness.
- Lyrics round-trip review — Spawns a separate Claude process (tools disabled, critic role pinned) to review the lyrics, and returns the critique as JSON. It scores the lyrics on six axes — hook strength, AI flavor, signature-tic density, thought-verb count, structural sharpness, and emotional dynamics — and surfaces weak lines along with improvement suggestions. Separating the writer from the critic gives you a third-party perspective free from your own assumptions and preferences. Revise and re-review until the scores stabilize.
- Engine improvements — Performance tags built out for 30 genres, stronger voicing-quality guards, and deterministic RNG control (same input → same output).

Suno Production Pipeline

Customizable
This product ships with the source code and production docs as-is. It is not a black box.
Ask Claude to "add a preset for this genre," "change the lyrics rules like this," or "register this progression in the dictionary," and grow the package into your own production environment.
The more you use it, the more it becomes yours.
